No. You can do the installation without any specialised tools.
Simply follow the description in the installation instructions. The module must be fixed securely to a component in the engine bay that does not become extremely hot, does not vibrate excessively and does not become wet.

Sometimes manufacturers fit different connectors during the production run of a model. If your car is affected, please contact our customer service. They will make sure you get the right wiring loom as soon as possible.
Tuningkit doesn't currently offer an installation service. But any workshop or mechanic can install your chip for you.
Our technicians here at the factory in Göppingen (in southern Germany) will be happy to show you the steps for installing the module. Once you've seen how to do it, you can install your own module to your car in just a few minutes. It's important to us that our products can be installed by non-experts.
If you follow the installation instructions, you cannot do any damage to your engine.
Our products are designed to be plug & play items, i.e. you simply connect them and that's it. The installation instructions guide you through the steps involved.
Yes, and it's very easy to do. Remove the Tuningkit chip, unplug the wiring loom, reconnect all the connectors to the sensors and your car is back as it was when it left the factory.
Another option to put your car in stock tune is to remove the chip from its connector in the wiring loom and to replace it with the blind plug.
